Curating Visibility

At the End of History

Welcome to At the End of History, a new exhibition at Dover Museum.

At the End of History is an immersive gallery that presents a vision of a near-future where cultural conflict has decimated museum collections, leaving only discarded disability objects behind. Thankfully some pioneering future curators have put those objects and their stories on display.

Our Team

At the End of History was curated by Curatorial Fellow Karl Anthony Mercer, with his team of co-producers - disabled people from Dover and the surrounding area. The exhibition has been produced as part of Curating Visibility, who, working with 6 museums across England, have provided work opportunities for deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people seeking a curatorial career.

Curating Visibility is delivered by Screen South through its Accentuate Programme and is funded by Arts Council England and Art Fund.
